1997 E36 M3 in Silver

A great E36 M3 found in New Jersey. From the owner:

Title in hand, no liens, no accidents. Body is 100% straight; paint is in great condition with a few rock chips on the front end. Interior is perfect. . . the pictures speak for themselves.

I have a stack of records going back to the late 90’s from the previous owners. This is a no surprises, no stories car. Passed NJ inspection in July with no problem.

I have put roughly about 10K miles when I bought this back in July 2014. I have 4 cars and just don’t have the time between work and family to fully enjoy this car. This car is in great shape and is un-abused. Also relatively low mileage compared to most E36’s (150k+ seems to be the norm).

Recent work by previous owner when purchased:

-Rebuilt alternator

-Replace all drive pulleys and belts

-Euro ellipsoid headlights with HID’s, Euro rear tails

-Complete overhaul of brakes; new calipers, UUC stainless braided lines, f/r pads, f/r rotors,

-Complete overhaul of cooling system; Upper and lower rad hoses, Mishimoto aluminum radiator, new expansion tank, Stewart Warner water pump, aluminum thermo housing, new thermostat, new fan clutch, new aux fan switch

-New OEM motor mounts and E46 M3 trans mounts

-Install Motion Motorsports aluminum under tray and radiator baffle

-Suspension overhaul; ST coilovers (great for street), new Meyle HD front control arms with Powerflex bushings, new swaybar bushings, new tie rods. New front strut mounts, Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts

-UUC short shifter with double shear selector rod

-Replace driveshaft guibo and center support bearing

-Replace intake j-boot

Engine:

No issues at all. Pulls hard and runs smooth as silk. No leaks, no oil consumption, no smoking.

Received Mobil 1 almost all of its life. Other points of interest include. . .

-Conforti carbon fiber intake

-BAV auto coils

-Shark Injector

-Rogue Engineering DMS cat-back

-New OEM engine mounts installed 6/14 @ 95k miles

-Cooling system as noted has been totally redone 9/13 @ 93k miles

-New alternator, belts and drive pulleys 7/13 @ 92k miles

*I have the factory airbox, coils and Shark Injector to put everything back to stock if wanted.

Drivetrain:

Shifts great, no grinding or worn synchros.

-Driveshaft support bearing and guibo replaced 6/14 @ 95k miles

-UUC short shifter with double shear selector rod installed 6/14 @ 95k miles

-E46 M3 trans mounts installed 6/14 @ 95k miles

Suspension:

-ST coilovers (great for street)

-Meyle Front control arms with Powerflex bushings,

-New swaybar bushings, new tie rods.

-New front strut mounts, Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts.

All of the above done 6/14 @ 95k miles

-Racing Dynamics strut tower bar

-BMW Motorsport X-Brace

Interior:

About as clean as it gets. Stock radio and factory Harmon Kardon radio.

Manual leather vaders are in excellent condition. No rips, very minor wear on drivers bolster.

35% tint all around.

Turner Motorsport pedal covers and UUC clutch stop.

Exterior:

Paint is in great condition and all original. I would rate it at 8/10 currently.

Body is 100% straight. 1 small ding on the hood.

Euro front turn signals, side markers and rear tails.

Euro ellipsoid headlights with HID kit. Looks factory with 5k bulbs and 35w ballast.

Projector fog lights.

*I have all the original lights; headlights, turn signals, side markers and tails if you want to go back to stock

Wheels / Tires:

Wheels are in great shape. Right rear has a little curb rash.

Tires have about 8k miles on them.
